Dental Procedures

80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of dental disease by age three, according to the American Veterinary Dental Society.

Not too surprising considering that most people don’t brush their pet’s teeth (and we know their pets aren’t doing it either). So why should you care? Poor oral hygiene doesn’t just cause bad breath, it can lead to tooth loss, painful abscesses, difficulty eating, and other serious health problems.

Kleinburg Veterinary Hospital is dedicated to educating, treating and preventing all levels of dental disease.  Our dental exams include dental X-rays, which help detect underlying root and bone involvement.    A complete oral exam is performed during all our routine check ups.   Please call us if you have any concerns including “bad breath”  or “bleeding gums”.  A Healthy Mouth = Healthy Body.

If you have any concerns including “bad breath” or “bleeding gums” you can reach us at (905) 893-3303.
